If we fire Coach O before next year we will get some 3rd Tier coach. No body wants a 2 year leash. We’re surrounded by teams ready to poach on our fertile recruiting land. It will take four years or more to establish what coach o has been building toward.
I would argue that we have a 4th or 5th tier coach rn. He couldn’t get a job at Troy.

If he wins every game remaining by 6 touchdowns and holds each opponent under 100 yards total offense then I 100% support him being the coach. If not the he can captain the S.S, Minnow

You and the majority of negatigers underestimate how hard it is to win a national title. What coach O did by going to the fiesta bowl and following it up with a Natty is very rare. Still waiting on Kirby Ryan Day or Lincoln Riley to win one. O did it in the same division a Saban. I believe he’ll do it again.

The thing with the Fiesta Bowl was Burrow and Aranda's defense. The next season was Brady. I've given him credit for 2019 though. He deserves that.

However, we had last season and now the current state of the program. You had 2019 and then the program is in a tailspin. He can't sustain it. That's blatantly obvious.

Not at LSU. He's done.

Not at all. It is hard. But elite coaches field contenders consistently.

What exactly has Orgeron done in his head coaching career that convinces you he can sustain the program at an elite level?

i think he could too. But he needs all-star coordinators and great roster management. Weve had neither since ‘19. O deserves credit for ‘19, that season didnt happen by accident

But he gone

I didn’t say it was easy to win a title. I’m just speaking the truth. He could not get a job at Troy rn.

8 & 4 saves O's job. Hard to fathom O and this staff winning 5 of 7 remaining games, but we'll have to let it play out UNLESS he loses the next 3 in a row. If that happens O will be fired before returning from Oxfart.

Exactly… NOTHING …????

I mean to see some here claiming that “well if he goes 9-3 or maybe 8-4 at the very worst”, it’s possible that he might be retained.

The Orgeron experiment along with this absolute roller coaster experience that came along with it is over and done.

There’s absolutely no way that LSU can risk the program being in the hands of this dude past December, period …

I ain't worried about it he ain't going 8-4 and I will be surprised if we break even. Too many things wrong that need fixing and it is beyond Ed to do it. Winning out this season and a major bowl victory would be the minimum as far as I am concerned but I could also win that big PowerBall pot too.
