Are you asking what’s possible or what’s likely? Theoretically he would have to finish 8-4 or 9-3.

I was asking for possible. I fully expected a losing season once we lost to Auburn, and was just trying to get an objective answer on what O would have needed to do to be retained. Not what he WOULD do, what LSU would have required of him.
I wasn't defending him, just wanted to catch what people thought was the case. I was thinking he was in deep shite, but if he could somehow pull a rabbit out of his arse and run the table the rest of the way, he'd be retained (and probably given a nice bonus).

Now, after the coach's show, we can put this thread to rest. There is nothing O can do at this point, I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if he's the coach Saturday.

Thanks to those who chose to give an actual answer

I just can’t get on board with the thought of it happening in season . Not sure why but it doesn’t feel sincere when I say it out loud

After the radio show tonight, he's really done now. I'll be shocked if he's the coach next weekend. I was going to say on Saturday but I'm not sure if Woodward would do it so soon but who knows.

The guy is out of control and he doesn't know what he's doing to boot. Time to just pull the trigger and do it.
