Just crunched the numbers. IF LSU upsets Alabama

LSU could lose another game and STILL win the West. Assuming Ole Miss loses 1 more( almost a guarantee).

In a perfect world, we beat Ala, go undefeated the rest of the way, and have Ole Miss give Ala a third loss. Watching the Gumps trying to figure out how a 3 loss Bama team could still make the playoffs would be gold.

Beating 'bama is a tall order but I do like where this team is right now. I would never thought CBK could turn it this year the way he has.
If/when we beat 'bama there isn't anyone left on the schedule to keep us out of winning the west. Arky and A&M are both shite programs again this year.
CBK winning the west in his first year wasn't something anyone would have thought possible 6 months ago.

Don't even worry about it, because it's not happening. Not this year. To beat Bama you have to play fast and lights out from the start. Nothing in the past couple of weeks has convinced me this team will do that

As much as that would mean a great "rebuilding" year all around, I think I'd still be livid if we beat Bama and then somehow lost Ark or A&M.
