The first college game I ever saw was LSU v. Bammer in 1958. I have always liked the white home jerseys but looking at pix of last nights game, I just wondered what a typical LSU fan thought of the white pants. I much prefer the gold(not yellow) pants. What say you?

Was fine with them, as long as they don't become the norm.

I personally don’t give a shite what uniform they’re wearing. They usually have 1 game a year they change it up and the players like it. But, you have the purists crazies that flip out anytime they put on a different color helmet. I’m more confused about why it even matters that much . They won the game so I’m happy, doesn’t matter if their pants are white or gold.

I prefer the traditional gold-white-gold combo for all games, but of the alternate combinations, I think the gold-white-white set we wore last night is the best.

I like the white pants.

I don't like the purple pants as much.

I love the white pants with the stripe (purple, gold, white, gold, purple)

I wish our white jerseys would have that stripe when they wear all white.

I prefer if the Tigers wear their traditional gold-white-gold, or the gold-purple-gold as an alternate.

I'm not really a fan of white helmets, or white pants. Cut em out of the fashion rotation

The only times I remember that the Tigers looked good in a non-orthodox uni design was 2011 vs Auburn and 2009 vs Arkansas (old gold helmets).

Not a fan but I have no problem with doing it once a year. Same with the white helmets, purple jersey, and white pants.

Or any special edition uniform. I prefer Gold, Purple, Gold at home and Gold, White, Gold on the road.

And Gerry Dinardo told me himself "Bring back the Magic" (White Jerseys at home) was NOT his idea. It was LSU's marketing after 5 losing season.

I have never even once agreed with anything you have ever posted, but doggone it you're 100% right with this one. Those old gold helmets against Arky in 2009 looked wonderful! I'd love to see those appear again if we must have a special uniform for a game or two each year.

I thought the white pants look better than the yellow. And I'm typically an old-school traditionalist.

The stripes on the white pants don't match the stripes on the jersey.

Looks like they got those uniforms at the Goodwill store.

Stripe on pants stunk. Just match the jersey. How hard is that.

ALL WHITE with the helmet, jersey and pants stripes matching would be a cool #3 uniform.

What we saw last night is unacceptable shite!

Where's the "Opposite" alternate uniform?. (white helmet-gold jersey with shoulder stripes-white pants)

Funny, you don't see Alabama messin around with their uniforms at all..........

I am fine with the gold helmets, white Jersey and pants as long at it is just once a year.

I just wish they would go back to the traditional full shoulder stripes.

Not bad, but the UCLA-style striping looks better

I don’t like the all-white look. In fact, I generally don’t like the color wash or all same color uniform combinations.
I like our traditional gold helmet, white shirt and gold pants, and our purple jersey option.
I would like to see a game that uses the baseball team’s Sunday color pattern- purple helmet, yellow-gold jersey with white pants.

Bama and Penn St may have plain “traditional” uniforms, but they still wear home and away color variations. We are the only school in college football that would even consider wearing the same uniform for an entire season.

There’s not a problem with shaking it up a little for 3-5 games out of 12+. Some of you need to get a grip.

Like usual, you're wrong. Alabama still wears home and away jerseys.

There's no big deal about changing up the uniform for one game per year. It's still the same colors.

Just like misey above stated.

Are you this cheerful in person?

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. The striping is exactly the same. LSU stole the idea from UCLA and first used in being with the 1958 season.

Prefer our traditional unis. If we change anything, ought to be to wear purple jerseys (that's what we wore when I was in school).

IMO, everything beyond these always looks like a downgrade.
