Kelly’s deficiencies at game planning for big games are obvious. All you have to do is look at the last 3 openers.
__________

Now do the ole miss game. And the Bama game from a couple of years ago. Didn't he win the sec his first year?

I'm not sure what to make of it. Reed looked alright in the 3 games he played, but I didn't think he was much more than a game manager with legs. Seemed like Weigman was the guy. Not sure how common it is to prep for the backup QB.

Well , the A&M game was Weigman’s ( A&M QB ) first game back from a shoulder injury . Wouldn’t you think that maybe there is a higher probability they pull Weigman for accuracy issues , pain/soreness ? Shouldn’t you prepare for the running backup QB ? Somebody didnt do their homework .

Weigman had literally played every snap but like one blowout series against Mizzou the two previous game you ding dong.. It was clearly Weigman's game to have until we flustered him so bad he became unplayable.

Yep. Extreme lack of discipline in assignments on defense. You have to be patient and extremely disciplined with zone reads. We were neither. D linemen would take path of least resistance and tackle running back who was empty handed while qb was 5 yards past them. Lbs weren’t filling gaps. It was a free for all.

It was much more than 2 seconds. They kept showing him and he was shell shocked.

He needed to huddle the offense and get baker to huddle the defense. Just show some fight. If you still fail after that then fine.

But at least bring everyone together and try to get them to snap out of it. I said this in the game thread ay the time.

This is supposed to be a good point? Something we all knew as soon as we saw it?

How do you know that they didn’t do this? You think the coaches just didn’t talk to the players or something? All because you saw the coaches on the sidelines for a total of maybe 5 minutes?

He mentioned In the middle of the 4th quarter when the camera panned to baker and Kelly, Their body language and faces had the look of coaches who realized they we’re screwed had no in game adjustments they can make when Reed was in the game. It’s stunning lack of preparation against a qb who has played a lot of snaps for A&M this year. I love what coach baker has brought to the defense but the defensive players essentially we’re thrown in the ocean with no life ramp when Reed entered the game and that’s 100 percent on the coaches.

This one game should keep anyone from wanting Baker as a HC in the near future. Complete and utter loss of preparation for a team.

How hard is it to put a spy on a QB?

They had a spy on him, the spy just couldn't tackle him.
