This young man's life and football career are going to be great, and it's mostly due to his hard work and determination, along with a little help and trust from his coaches. From 3rd string to first round would be such a wonderful story for him, and I hope like hell it happens. He deserves it.

The Saints would be fools to not grab him. He will be able to run the offense and the NFL will not be too big for him.

He has totally changed my views on transfer QBs. I would never recruit another guy if I was a coach. Why get a freshman when you can let someone else do the work and snag a veteran?

That only works if you have a program with several studs battling it out at QB and one decides to graduate early and transfer out. Most guys like Burrow are starting at their schools

Joey B has Saint or Patriot written all over him. Hopefully, he avoids dumpster fires like Tampa, Jacksonville or Miami

Absolutely terrible idea to not recruit QBs

Fulton had a dazzling effort against the gigantic Collin Johnson in LSU's win and is capable of excelling in any type of coverage

They have Fulton and Stingley confused. And Delpit getting drafted behind Fulton.

I agree with you. Burrow will thrive in the NFL under a Belechick or Payton system. The question is why? I believe the answer to that is both these coaches place a high value on building an offensive line from the center position out rather than from the tackle position in. Sean and Bill appear to have the philosophy that it is a little more important to have a very strong center and guards and than tackles (but the tackles of course cannot be shitty).

I like the philosophy because when a QB scrambles up rather than out he still has the entire field in front of him. Whereas when a QB scrambles out (because the interior is weak and tackles are strong) the field is cut in half and less options are available.

If you watch the Saints or the Patriots for that matter, Drew can be neutralized with pressure up the gut. If defenses cannot get pressure up the middle on the Saints it usually a very long day for them.

Burrow will thrive under this kind of offensive philosophy IMO.

cb's are a lot more valuable than safeties in the NFL. Delpit has been great, but his value is greater in college than pros. Not saying he'll go behind Fulton, but it's certainly not laughable.

I honestly hope he slides to the saints. I think he'd be a perfect fit for Payton's offense. Have Brees two more years, one year of learning the system, and then Joey B takes over.

I don't see it happening, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did. With the way teams reach for QBs, if he continues to play well this season and has good workouts, he very well could be taken towards the bottom half of the first round. Still, I don't think it's likely to happen.

I think Justin Jefferson can sneak into the 1st round as well. If not he will be an amazing steal for someone.

Burrow literally made millions the other night, now the NFL is watching him like a hawk. Well done Joe, well done.

i usually sigh when we as saints fans try to force fit LSU guys to NO. But this does seem like a good fit. The thing about it is, the saints are going to have to find a QB (if they want to draft one) in the late first round. If burrow gets the the first, i would imagine it would be 20-30ish

What I love about Joe Burrow is that he is truly earning everything for himself right now. An actual field general.
