A lot of quarterbacks basically decide to phone it in after dealing with such adversity.  For example, future hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers took several weeks to return to the sideline following the injury to his achilles tendon.  Division rival quarterback Deshaun Watson still remains lounging in a press box during games following his own season-ending injury.

Not Burrow though.  Burrow remains on the sideline every single play of the game and has become essentially another quarterbacks coach to backup Jake Browning.

I'm very curious to see if Burrow ends up as a coach someday after he retires from the NFL.

Not clicking the blind link but

He's helped make Jake Browning into a competent NFL starter.

And people wonder why he wasnt at the Heisman ceremony

In fairness to Rodgers it's easier to walk around with a wrist injury than an Achilles. A couple of weeks was not out of line.

Well duh. He had to have the ability to move out of the way if a play came too close out of bounds. Joey B has a wrist injury. I’d be willing to bet Rodgers would’ve been doing what Burrow is doing from the jump if he had an upper body injury as well.

Burrow is a competitor. He loves to win and he wants his team to win even if he is sidelined with an injury.

Another example of Burrow being a good teammate is that he gave Browning's family / friends use of his stadium suite during their last home game.

Dude lives for football. I think it would kill him not not be involved in some sort of capacity.

Are they really comparing an Achilles injury to a wrist injury. Where was burrow when he tore his knee up?
