Some people just want their asses kissed. There’s people in charge of nearly every organization that doesn’t care about anything but power and money. LSU is no exception.

Money/Boosters vs Political Hacks also seems plausible to me.
We can thank JBE in that case.

It’s not about that. These types of people love power. They love to feel important and be the center of attention. He wants Wade to come in and bow to him, apologize for what he did, and beg for his job.
Frick that noise

IM sure the board is filled with people who have no business being on it from both parties.
I just figured Williams was a JBE appointee.

How can any true LSU fan be anti-Wade. All he does is win. I don't get it.

I don’t keep up with LSU politics as much as most of you. But, if I were betting money, I’d bet that the Administration and the Board have decided that everyone is expendable in the short term if it will appease the NCAA
and, to the extent it matters, the feds. Wade probably sees it that way, too.

Word is some in BOS arent fans of Wills cockiness. To some he seems to think he is above the law sort to speak. They like coaches that bow down to the almighty uppers.

Jimmy Ott mentioned today that a faction of higher ups...
are anti-Wade and others are supportive of Wade.
I caught Finebaum after he interview Scott Rabalais today and Pawwwl said that Rabalais said something similar during the interview. Held the window open that Wade might actually get to coach again this year.
Makes sense there are two factions. I'm sure some of the board figures they don't want to stand in the way of the team going to the Final Four and surely they see the fan blowback is pretty fierce right now. Honestly, I didn't think they would suspend Wade in the first place (because the fan blowback would surely be fierce) but Wade called their bluff by refusing to even come in to talk to the board.
The anti-Wade faction is surely motivated by fear of what the NCAA will do if LSU doesn't take this seriously. Pro-Wade folks probably figure screw it, they'll burn us either way. LSU is normally very cautious and eager to comply and be cooperative once a matter has been found. There hasn't been anything remotely like this since Dale was being hounded by the NCAA "Gestapo" as he called them. Compared to those days, the NCAA is rather toothless nowadays but the FBI is serving this up on a silver platter.

We get it callari555 and your 34 posts in the last 3 days. You are anti-Wade. Your shtick is getting old really fast.
