I don’t post much but this is bigger than we all think. Remember where Alleva came from, the faction is scared. They don’t want the young guys making it. Why do great, young NCAA coaches go to the NBA? Who is the last young coach to have success and build a program?

All the money is pro wade. The political power is anti
The BOS mostly doesn’t like wade because he asks for shite he needs. Facility upgrades, higher assistant salaries, less recruiting restrictions. Those higher ups hear enough of that from football. They don’t want it from basketball too

The poster who mentioned that Wade may have ruffled some feathers with some of the BOS is at least plausible to me. Again, I suspect Williams may be one of them, but I dont know.
I don’t think Ott is talking out of his a$$ here though. All have not been pulling in the same direction it seems at that level.
Fan base needs to find out who the anti-Wade faction is and let them know what’s up. They are likely the obstacle to reinstating and keeping Wade.
And yes I’m sure Wade received counsel not to attend that meeting. All I’m saying is part of the reason he didn’t go is b/c he didn’t want to get “called to the principals office” of a “Principal” that apparently hasn’t supported him and for all we know is licking his chops get rid of him.

Williams is pro wade and there is no plot against wade from above. They all know what they have in will. While it has not necessarily been handled the smoothest it is my understanding everyone is working toward what we all seem to want.
