This comment is hilarious. Dude wants to be an NFL QB, he's putting in the same effort and work that all other College QBs who want to be in the NFL are doing. Ya'll see one camp and are going nuts. Yall think Harold Perkins is just chilling on Tchoupitoulas waiting on Mardi Gras floats?

I said the same about Jalen Hurts, who finally reached well beyond his potential. I'm hoping Jayden steals a page from Jalen's run at reaching his potential and silences all the naysayers and those who doubt he can do it, including myself.

I definitely was. JD got my respect that night. Doesn’t make him a good QB. Great kid and great attitude. But it takes a really special level of bad to tank Boutte’s draft stock without even trying.

Unfortunately I agree with you here. I will be happy if he proves me wrong. The issue here is not whether he can throw a random deep ball from time to time. It is whether he can lean on his downfield passing when the going gets tough against quality opponents late in the game.
My agreement with your OP was formed last season in the last 4-5 games and he could not execute the passing game effectively.

They're still throwing a tantrum over being so, so wrong about Myles Brennan. Daniels definitely has areas to improve but he's tough as nails and a pretty good leader. I'm looking forward to watching him compete for a title next year.

I don't have one shred of hate for Jayden Daniels, but he still severely handicaps our vertical passing game.
He's a very likeable kid with alot of tangibles, but accurately passing downfield on a consistent basis isn't one of them.

Poor man’s Lamar Jackson. He can work all he wants and tries as hard as possible but if he doesn’t see zero risk, he won’t throw it into any coverage. That is the hard truth.
