Jayden has an inferiority complex with Burrow. Would love to know a school with two heismans that close in years. The thing is no recruit was promised number 9. That’s the only issue here.

My guess is the promise of wearing number 5 wasn't Kelly's decision. He was always less hands-on in recruiting. It was probably an assistant that made the promise. Lane's hands were tied but ultimately had to keep a promise that was made.
