He has the ability to do it. It’s 100% a mental thing for him.
When he’s on time he throws a REALLY pretty deep ball. I’m excited to see the development.

quote:It was very easy to see Nuss had a lot more velocity on his throws. His throws get to the receiver a hell of a lot quicker and that’s why he can throw a quick pass to the outside and give the WR a chance to beat the corner one on one. If JD throws a pass like that the CB is on his arse with the quickness.
Daniels passes seem to take a couple more seconds to reach the receiver than Nuss or Collins.

This does not mean what your title claims

I guess not if you cut the second half of the sentence off.

He better Nuss is on his arse right there ready to sling it

yep...
we talking about practice, right now... easy to chuck it when interceptions don't really count for nothing

Where it says we are halfway thru spring practice and we have guys that can go get the ball on the outside?
How does that make JD more aggressive and letting it fly?
They wanted it to be more aggressive last year too, and instead he was the SEC sack leader . . . . as a 4th yr senior

Throwing for 80 yards doesn't scream Fantastic.
No, but that was one game, dumbass. Check out his season total stats and report back to me with a detailed explanation of why you don’t believe the stats that show him having the best single season of any LSU quarterback NOT named Joeseph Burrow.

You can’t be serious.
What you extracted:

The actual quote:
quote:

We’ve encouraged him to do that, he’s done an unbelievable job here early and in the spring.

this place doesn't know how to handle a positive story
No, we’ve just heard this so many times from the media and previous coaches that we are so jaded and cynical.

I'm wondering how much more we would have seen out of Daniels letting it loose downfield if Boutte and his 4.67 40 hadn't been the primary receiver on those plays.
If you had paid attention you would have seen Boutte wide open,
turn around and run back across the field and he never got the ball.

He threw for the same amount of tds as jordan jefferson in 2009.

dumbass
Unprovoked personal attack usually denotes low iq.
quote:wrong.......
but that was one game
He threw for 86 yards or less twice
Also.... 75 yards of his 189 yards against a&m came on the last 2 drives when the game was over.
Do you follow lsu football?
We were ranked in the 100's in passing yards per completion for the entire season(meaning Check down charlie).
If he can be more consistent passing and produce like he did against UF, Bama and ole miss then the sky is the limit. But he wasn't fantastic last year.

He’s my pic but still, I’ll believe it when I see it.

From the little bit of tape of practice I saw , Jayden did move it down the field, but nothing deep. So....

I remember when y’all were saying the same thing about Jordan Jefferson in the off-season.
