I mean probably top 5-6. In a program with historically average QB play

You put Daniels season over one of these? Not even close.

Burrow
Russell
Mauck
Flynn
Davey
Billy Cannon

anybody thinking JD is a better passer or better overall Qb than mauck or flynn or davey is delusional and never watched a game

Daniels has accounted for 26 TDs and only 2 INTs with two games to play.

He’s far and away the team mvp and is having one of the best individual seasons of any lsu QB ever.

He’s made the worst RB room at lsu in 30yrs look serviceable. He’s over came weird play calling. He’s brought lsu to a place no one has thought they could go With the players around him.

Great. Can't throw past 15 yards to save his life.

Considering football started at LSU in 2000 it’s not that great

If you only read stats, sure.

If you watch the games, he's 1 read and scramble.

There are Different ways to win games. Mauck, Flynn & Davey all had flaws too.

Davey threw 18tds. yea, a different time but guys like Rex grossman & Eli throwing 30+ TDs at the same time. LSU fans don’t know what good QB’ing is. Davey was an average college QB

Danny Etling was better.

Etling was a huge reason we couldn't beat Bama for 2 years

Daniels was a huge reason we were able to beat Bama this year

I’d be more upset at our perceived best player being no where to be found in major moments.

You do realize that’s because JD can’t find him or can’t hit him right?

It’s a different era in CFB. You can’t base stuff like this on stats and if you do you’re just a complete dumbass

Yea because that defense held Bama to 6 points

Daniels had to put up 32 including making a game winning drive in regulation and again in OT(along with a 2 point conversion). Trying to compare their play in each game was laughable
