Jayden Daniel’s 2022 season is a top 10 all time LSU season.

Last night sucked, and he’s not perfect, but he’s goddamn good and just put together a top 10 LSU QB season of all time, all things considering. If that sounds wrong, list your top 10.
But whatever you think about him, be intellectually honest, fair, and most of all, not an a-hole. He—and scores of other guys, busted their assess to give us fans a fantastic journey that we knew we had no business enjoying.

He’s the second best QB we’ve had in a decade. If he wants to come back you welcome it with open arms.
I’d be more upset at our perceived best player being no where to be found in major moments.

Even Max Johnson had 27 TDs and 6 INTs last season.
He might squeak into the top 10.

Also I'm sure Myles Brennan would have had a Top 10 all time season statistically in 2020 if he didn't get his abdomen destroyed, who cares?

Nah, Mettenberger was a better QB and was a more effective player for LSU even if his combined totals weren't as large as Daniels.
Daniels is going to have more rushing numbers because he takes the ball into his own hands a lot. Mettenberger threw for over 3000 yards and quarterbacked an offense with 2- 1000 yard receivers.

Hopefully he leaves after this year and the Walker Howard show starts next season. Daniels' ceiling has been reached. They aren't beating Georgia. Daniels is an average qb at best. If anyone really thinks he is going to the NFL and be a star then you're beyond help.
