Neither won multiple titles. Neither won 2 titles in 3 years. Orgeron had a .500 and then sub .500 season.

Don’t be fricking dumb.

You know we are in the top half of the SEC in virtually all hitting stats, right?

You mean he'd better find some players who can pitch and hit.

That’s because neither of those coaches won multiple national championships like Jay has dummy.

Coaches are only 10% of the equation , the players are the other 90%.

I think hes developed hitters just fine himself. hes got a very successful resume as a hitting coach and head coach ,at the same time. also,im sure other coaches have helped too.

were hitting the ball fine, we had a hitting slump this year like most teams do. I think hes gotten a lot out of what we have at the plate. these are mostly freshman that have stepped up,the guys hes had from day 1.

actually the players who cant hit are the ones that developed bad habits other places

jay did his fricking job. figure out who needs to be playing and where by the end of the year and get the team hitting their best by the end of the year. the pitchers arent carrying their weight.

of course im being somewhat facetious but if we want to get technical

Great spot is the young guys they brought in from H.S. last year. They show a lot of talent and we need to hold onto them. They missed big time on about all of the guys they brought in from the portal. Observing Coach I don't thing that will happen again. Oh, yea there may be one or two but not the entire group they bring in.

Wonder what impact the CWS played on players not being available they had interest in that were picked up by other teams that had completed their play off run. If they were impacted I'd anticipate they figure a way to correct that going forward.

He does have the right roster minus a few pitchers and maybe a few back-ups considering these are all freshman and SO scoring all these runs.
He loses Curiel, Brown sho hasn’t been playing and MAYBE Milam.
I don’t understand how you guys can ignore Cooper Moore’s injury’s impact on pitching. Or Caden Evans or Jake Brown getting injured in a game they were in the thick of it versus TAMU a month ago.
If this is a troll job, ok. If not, yall are just freaking stupid.

Yep, How does the saying go? It's the Jimmy and Joes, not the X's and O's.

We’re going to be beasts in 2027. CJJ just needs to have a more focused portal class. Experienced pitchers.

I think coach can get freshmen to hit at an SEC caliber. Our underclassmen have been impressive.

“ Jay better get a pitching and hitting coach next year”

You’re an idiotic troll. Jay went to the college World Series with Arizona twice and now with LSU twice and has won twice.

Man, get a grip....it is not the coaches....it is the players....coach did not walk any batters....coach did not throw any wild pitches....coach did not hit any batters, and coach certainly did not throw that meatball right over the plate for home runs....this is the worst group of pitchers in LSU history. Plus, other teams like Georgia, Texas A & M, Miss. St. and Ole Miss and others are just better over-all than LSU. So, lay off the bad mouthing of our coaches...2 Natty's in the last 4 years. I have complete confidence that we have a great coaching staff.

Get great players and you become a great coach. Paul Skenes was all coaching, right? Can’t make chicken salad out if chicken droppings. If you have no control you can’t pitch
