Last thing you want is having to play and then see the remainder of your draft stock blow up

He went from being behind Nuss next year and the year after to being behind possibly Dart next year then starting. A year is alot.

He’s obviously not got it. I mean did anyone stop and consider that maybe he’s just not very good? Talent wise as well as the “it” factor he just doesn’t have either. He wouldn’t have made it here either so who cares.

You get all this based on the starting QB possibly coming back for his senior year or was it off the 5 mins of game time he played at LSU?

Freaking awesome. Screw Howard. It made no sense to me that he didn't want to be 3rd string again here, but yet he transferred somewhere else to be 3rd string.

Now he can't even compete for the starting job next season. Sure he can be 2nd string there next year, but Dart is your starter to open the season if he returns.

The SEC West championship he had nothing to do with will be the most meaningful accomplishment of his college career.

Transferring to put yourself in a better position to start is understandable, but he chose a rival where he was in the exact same position as he would be at LSU.

It never made any sense. His reasoning all along was that he didn't want to be 3rd string again. He is 3rd string at Ole Miss. The backup now will graduate, so he can be the backup next season. However, he won't be competing to start next year. Transferring there did not put him in a better position. He'd actually be in position to win the job here next season and if not he'd be in the same position as backup here.

There is a possibility he isn't quite what we thought, but I still believe in his talent. I wish he had stayed or at least gone somewhere he could start sooner.

Leaving LSU made sense. Choosing ole miss didn’t

Or he could’ve not been a bitch after 1 year, toughed it out and then if he doesn’t beat out Nuss, or Nuss stays for an extra year he can transfer into a preferable situation. Instead he’s stuck in the same situation as he would be here without an immediate transfer opportunity; grass isn’t always greener

Or he could do what he did and get into a system as early as possible so he can start learning that system and be ready when his name is called. Again all the Howard hate here is just scorned lovers.

Why? He would start next the following season and be the back up as a junior

If he woulda stayed, it would’ve been a competition between he and nuss going into ‘24. As it stands right now, the family made a poor decision.

I’m not on Manning at all. Anyone that ever thought he’d ever end up here is crazy. There will never be a Manning wearing purple and gold.

Howard on the other hand, frick that dweeb. Serves that d-bag right.

He would have been better off sitting on our bench.

He would need to transfer out of D1 in order to start somewhere next year. He should’ve chose more wisely when he ditched us.
Take the T.Jandon Harrisley (T.J.Finley/Brandon Harris hybrid) route and transfer to a Texas State type school to start and get playing time.....
