Jalen Cook Copium

It’s hilarious seeing all the McMen say that Jalen coming back is going to drastically improve our team. While I agree Jalen is a great PG and we’ve been missing a true point; nothing is going to change if we still have that low energy, vanilla, boring arse coach on the sideline

Weird melt about people being happy Cook is back

I sense that boring coaches really get to you.
If only the coach would throw a few more chairs or commit a few more NCAA violations, then you would be happier and the team could be great again.

I’m not a big fan of McM but Cook can only help this team. I’d at least like for LSU to be competitive in SEC play.
To be honest, I feel bad for the situation McM was placed in. It’s not his fault our Administration decided to fire our prior coach and destroy the program from within.

I’m just asking for a coach that can win and occasionally get us to the tournament.. he who shall not be named did that

Don’t feel sorry. He signed a nearly $20m contract. He will get a nice buyout for failing miserably as well.

Look while I agree with your sentiment that Cook doesn't drastically change this team, can we at least wait until he plays.
He is a good player and will make this team better, and while I hope he changes the entire trajectory of the CMM era, we have got to get better at rebounding.

I genuinely haven’t seen a single poster that has said McMahon is doing a good job. Yet I keep seeing other posters calling out these nonexistent supports. Y’all are the kings of straw men arguments.

I think he's good but we had a player that was arguably better in KJ Williams and still only won 2 SEC games. I believe in Cook, I don't believe in McMahon.

I mean, statistically, he will be a huge improvement.

Cook averaged 20 with 5 assists in a good conference. We will be significantly better with him.

How many Will Wade shirts or "Boot Up" shirts do you own?

I really don't know how good Cook is. Hopefully he is a major upgrade off of anything we had last year or this.
A top notch point guard makes a huge difference in every aspect of your offense. Hopefully he can make a big difference, because it is really needed.

Do you remember Tremont Waters who fell on Wade’s lap? How many games would we have won without Waters? He alone jump started Wade’s run at LSU. Wade is gone and not coming back. Support LSU or get off this board and follow “Daddy Wade”

Carlos Stewart averaged 15 and 2, shooting 40% from 3 last season in a solid conference. This year he is virtually a non-factor averaging 4 points and 1 assist as his minutes continue to decrease. So while I think LSU will be better with Cook, this program has lost the benefit of the doubt with me to say I know the team will be significantly better. In 1.5 years I think only Derrick Fountain is someone you can definitely say improved at LSU.
I want to see Cook play because I think LSU will be better (to some degree) with him. I want him to play because I want to see this team "whole". Most of all, I want there to be no excuses at the end of the season if this is another bad year. That would allow for a full and complete assessment of the current and future state of the program.

you seem to be contradicting yourself a couple of times in there.

All of you Wade cucks just call it a day, drop LSU and go be McNeese fans.

These "LSU fans". LOL. So a great PG will not improve this team. Say you know nothing about basketball without saying you know nothing about basketball.
