What a strange pinch hit so early in the game.

Retarded.

Guy made a bad dirt ball read. Catcher made a great play. That's it.

Is this the first game you’ve watched this season? He’s been crushing the ball

Y'all keep saying this but it's not really comparable to last year

It’s comparable, and this type of shite happens every single year

People start slow. It takes time to get back into the swing of things. Guys aren’t the same ‘caliber’ at the end of the year as they are when it starts. Some most guys get better, some get worse.

Please stop acting like a couple rocky performances during the very first part of the season indicates exactly how the rest of the season will be. That’s absolutely insane

Is this your first baseball season?

I mean, if Schmidt keep struggling you don't think Sheerin has a good chance to at least see him in a day 3 start role to see if he can handle the load? Are you not aware of what he did before LSU?

I think the coaches know exactly what they have in each pitcher and will put us in the best position to win with what we have by seasons end

Good lord, I’m always one to call out people for blasting radio/TV announcers, but I’m really missing Chris Blair today. This guy is awful.

I'm quite aware. Problem is that Deven hasn't been built up to throw 70 or 80 pitches at this point. I'm definitely not saying that he is incapable of it. If Jay wanted him in that role he would have tried him in back to back innings at least once but he hasn't. He is one of the most talented arms on this squad.

Kind of. He did throw mainly out of the bullpen, but extended his outings to the point that he threw a starters workload.
