And is apparently 40 lbs overweight and coming off an injury.

The season lasts through January. He doesn’t have to be in peak physical condition on September 7th. A lot of y’all are really downplaying just how much better these 2 guys could make us. We don’t have anybody like them at all at their respective positions. Do we NEED them? No. Can we win the NC without them? Yes. Would they make us significantly better on both sides of the ball? Absolutely. They would not be “just depth.”

Key words "not rostered". You are not a real NFL player until you make a roster. There are thousand of players walking the streets that never made a roster. I can assure you, none consider themselves NFL players and they have the empty wallet to prove it.

Pyburn and Carpenter and Weeks, OH MY!

Carpenter looks like an absolute freak. I hope it translates to the field this year for him. He definitely looks like he has put in the work in the weight room.

I shouldn’t be surprised by the Rant anymore, but it is still absolutely bananas that most of you are fine with Lane blowing up college sports like this. There is zero chance any of you a few years ago would have been in favor of cut NFL players playing on college teams.

You don't have to do anything.

You are right with the exception of this one year. And only because the NCAA screwed them over for no reason. Next year unless the NCAA does some bone headed move again to screw players out of an opportunity then no I don't think it should ever happen again.

Pyburn is not worth the trouble for LSU to pursue him in any way. He was a flop last year, and we have better DE personnel than him this year.
