The same jet that brought Kiffin back is being prepeared for take off. Imagine pearing Kiffin and Wade. The hate that would come our way would be pearfect. That is what I pearfer in my coaches.

Pete Nakos reported on On3 that the LSU staff has yet to be notified about their future as of today.
What an odd thing to say considering many on this very board are satisfied with the job of Matt McMahon and co so far.
Hopefully these hard working winners are notified of their fate sooner rather than later!

Maybe. But I just don't see NC State allowing themselves to be sandbagged like that. They would be aware of the speculation regarding LSU (or other jobs) and ask Wade to either commit to being at NC State next year, or leave now so (a) NC State could start it's coaching search and (b) recover the $5M owed in Wade's buyout. Wade's NC State contract, at minimum, requires him to provide notice to NC State if other schools are inquiring about his potential interest.
If I'm NC State I'm telling Wade I want him to commit now, pay us the $5M owed if he is leaving, or I'm suing him for breach of contract.

Isn't it possible Wade has informed NC st of LSU's interest AND that he's leaving. Perhaps LSU and NC st are negotiating a reduced buyout that would give the wolfpack time to conduct a search?
Also, NC st could be speaking with potential coach's agents right now, knowing he's gone.
As leverage for a reduced buyout, LSU could be telling NC st we won't announce the McMahon firing until April 1, when we can save the $2 million on Wade 's buyout.
Several scenarios are possible, which are most likely?

The more reasonable outcome is nc state accepts a lowered buyout so they don’t get ole miss’d
