How do you figure that ?? Burtow has no defense . They can’t /won’t tackle anybody .

Ekeler signed a 2/8.4 contract this offseason. He's not some great RB because he had some fantasy success a few years ago.

But they're going to create a fantasy where Daniels has some outstanding D and OL, when both have bad ones.
Again, that's not saying Daniels is better than Brurow, but the conversation can't be had until we stop with this fantasyland crap about their teams.

I love Daniels but at this point there is zero argument for Daniels over Burrow. At least not a logical or objective one.

Neither plays on a great team and are leaned on heavily to lead there teams and they do. I think Burreaux throws the ball a little better and maybe see the play develop a little quicker and Daniels is a little more elusive. They are as has been said 1a and 1b. The 2 best qb in the NFL and it isn’t close. The others considered great QBs play on better teams. Do you all recall those Yankees proclaiming Caleb Williams and others the front runner for Heisman. What could have been with any defense.

Burrow has had one of if the the worst Oline since he was drafted. Yes he has weapons but if you dont have time to throw what good are they?

Little early but the start to his NFL career is better than Burrow's. If Jayden beats Philly and makes the Superbowl in his first season then there is a chance he could become better than Burrow in a few years and have a better career. But Burrow's 2021, 2022, and 2024 were ELITE. Jayden needs to continue to build and grow before that can be said. Burrow is better than Jayden right now.

IMO one season is hard to come to that conclusion. Stroud looked remarkable as a rookie too. Now he looks lost. Not saying JD will have the same falloff, only that it takes more than 1 year of high level play to say “this one is better than this one”.
Im just stoked both played at LSU, along with Chase Jefferson Nabers Thomas and all those young QB - WR’s out there see that and think they can be the next iconic duo. I love it

And that defense was awful last season as well. As in worst in the league. Luvu, Wagner, and now Lattimore have certainly helped though. But it’s unreal the turnaround in a single season. And they still have close to 100 mil in cap space to spend in the offseason. Should be a nice run.
Not saying Daniels is better than Burrow, just trying to point out how impactful he has been lifting the team up, most notably the offense.

If JD5 can keep this level of play over the next couple of seasons it becomes an argument. Not yet tho, and you will not find a bigger JD5 supporter than I am.
