Part of it is having a stacked roster. It's a lot less difficult to get kids not to swing when they know there is a future mlb draft pick right behind them waiting for their opportunity to do exactly what Coach Johnson wants them to do.

So basically the scenario people had an issue with is the one that actually happened?

He was held back a year so it seems he always knew he was going to WM. So what you are saying makes sense. The only reason he didn't attend west ridge until recently is because he was playing did his dad. Then transferred right after his last football season to get back into WM district before high school.
I know LSU has a presence in VA, MD area. But I'm speaking more NJ,PA. I know it's not much further north but LSU hasn't signed many guys from that far north historically. And his fans aren't just black males. I paid for 7 teenagers to go to a show of his last year and all of them were white. That's actually the only reason I know who he is.
Don't think playing football has been mentioned but I see nothing wrong with him being a walk on. He's from Syracuse and he's a big name amongst the younger generation in the northeast. At the least he gets LSU in the conversation amongst recruits up there
With the Pels injury luck and the way Thibs coaches they wouldn't have 5 healthy players for longer than 2 weeks at a time
Their starter avg 130 yds and 3 tds per Game
Maybe because we signed 3 edges in the portal that all needed immediate reps to justify the amount of money they were paid. None of those guys could do anything else. They couldn't cover and they weren't big enough to slide inside on passing downs so putting Perkins on the edge meant taking one of them off the field completely.

You could play the game under a blanket and Keys still couldn't cover anyone. He's one of my favorite players on the team because he's tough as nails. But he can't cover. So someone had to do it.

Blake did the best he could with what he had. So did Perk.

Hey. You realize if you're a conservative you're allowing a group outside of yourself to think for you just like the liberals are, don't you? Please tell me you realize that ??
Because they would hypothetically have lamar brown and richard Anderson on their team in two seasons lmao
I'll make it really simple. You can have up to 5 WR on the field at one time. Plus special teams. Most games, only 1 QB sees the field. It would make sense that a team would be able to attract a higher number of receivers at a faster rate compared to QB.
I'm not overthinking it all. I specifically said "hypothetically" "in no way do I want this to happen" "would be funny to watch it play out." At no point did I suggest that he should or would stay and take a redshirt. I just asked what would happen if he did. If you don't know it's ok to say you don't know or just not respond at all lmao
What happens if Williams were to withdraw his request and take a redshirt year while forcing UW to pay him 4 mil not to play?

Couldn't he just wait until they sign his replacement then "change his mind" and make UW decide if they wanna pay two QBs 4+ mil?

Hypothetically he would be back in the portal with the same amount of eligibility and 4 mil in his pocket after next season.

In no way do I want this to happen because it would mean he's not playing for LSU. But it would be hilarious to watch it play out.
Go back to the old bowl format of conference affiliation. Bigger bowls choose first. Start the playoff rankings at the by beginning of the season. G5 teams have to win a bowl game to be eligible for playoffs. P4 teams that win any of the 6 big bowl games go to the top of the playoff rankings. Any team that wins a bowl game and a conference championship automatically qualifies for the playoffs.

A school could turn down a bowl invite but they would be denying their team a chance at an automatic playoff spot.

Now tell me what they avg against every other team. If it's lower than these numbers that would mean Blake is the best coordinator those teams faced all year which would also mean he's not overrated.
Most of the people in the media watched him grow up. They refer to him as Lane so the fans who were introduced to him through the media refer to him the same way.
Brought him up in a couple of other threads earlier. He would be my first choice
.
Jaden Craig from Harvard should be the first target.
