Lane left Tennessee after only one year, and only three weeks before signing day.
Lane left Alabama (forced out) just one week before the CFP National Championship Game.
Lane left Ole Miss (forced out) right before the playoffs.

You will see a focus on efficiency and in the athletic department, a focus on maximizing the brand and the two sports that generate the most revenue.
