It’s irreconcilable, IMO. Cut a deal with the B1G & leave the SEC for the ‘27 season.

The amount of pure hatred, contempt, and disrespect by the conference towards a founding member is irreconcilable, IMO.

Moving forward, how can any member of the conference feel secure in its membership when, at any time, simply because the rest of the league doesn’t like a particular coach, or gets their feelings hurt, they’ll simply vote you out?

I wouldn’t even allow it to come to a vote on Thursday. Tomorrow, I would announce that we’re joining the B1G starting with the 2027 sports season and move on with life. Sign me up for games with Ohio State, Michigan, and regular trips to Southern California.

The SEC can take their threats of expulsion, fines, and coaching suspensions and shove it. We’ve been pushed around and treated like a step child by this conference for far too long. It’s time to end it.

We only leave if we are kicked out, otherwise we are picking a giant tab up.

I would go Big 10, but no other league. Otherwise, independent.

The SEC bylaws weren’t written with massive negotiated tv deals in mind.

Yes they can kick us out but they also negotiated a $3bn tv deal using our rights and name brand that is in place for another 8 years.

They’re going to negotiate that deal and then kick us out of the league? At a minimum they will owe us our payments under that contract and we would have claims for significantly more.

Sankey wants LSU to burn. This is personal. The vote will be 15-0. One radio head in Texas said he would hope the Aggies wouldn't vote to kick em out but that they expect it to be 15-0.

I agree, the relationship has been completely severed by the SEC and the only way it can be repaired is if we get a new commissioner who kisses the ring.

If true, I would assume our people are in talks with the B1G for the move.

The B1G probably wouldn't accept LSU, because LSU is not an AAU member institution.

This is the answer. The Big 10 won’t touch LSU because of our academics. We don’t have the stroke to go alone. ACC is best case scenario if we are booted.

Agree but it is a longshot that they would take us.

And they are no less corrupt than the SEC
