And that challenger will post a very serious threat to him. Whoever it is will have my support.

Versus the dem candidate, no brainer.

The issue is Landry was somehow the conservative candidate. Pretty bad choice.

Has never happened in our lifetime in Louisiana gubernatorial politics. The incumbent has so many advantages, you better hope Landry gets caught with a dead girl or live boy for that to play out.

It is most certainly Landry making that call.

I just recently heard the level of meddling into the athletic program and was shocked.

Oh, I knew the shitshow we were entering when he won. I've known it since he was in Congress years ago.

Jeff Landry knows what the problems are......and he knows how to make them worse

Just look at how he’s handled the issues facing our coast. Cancelling Mid Barataria diversion, pogey boats. He’d rather snuggle up to fat dumbasses like nungesser than do something good for the state.

Landry is fast pissing off a large portion of his base.

I would like to know the facts.
How legitimate is the claim?

This whole ordeal is shining a bright fricking light on the dysfunction of LA politics. Say what you want but the aftermath is why they should’ve kept Woodward on for the near term.. but nope. People were frothing at the mouth to put him out on the streets without realizing that we’ve now handed the Athletic department over to the governor. It’s a bad precedent

Why would you want to bring facts into this?

You won't find a positive post on my account about Jeff Landry. He's a shithead and I hope he's primaried when he runs again.

With that, this board is hilarious this week. Landry is the boogeyman, and one other poster this morning swore Trump had something to do with this too.

Peak insanity here, but it is entertaining to see the idiocy on full display.

According to some people on the radio that meeting that took place at the Governors mansion threw out this option to pursue if they couldn't negotiate a settlement. Which is why LSU agreed to continue paying his monthly salary and informed Kelly of such as it would leave them with different options.

There is no way Ralph would have screwed this up as badly as Jeff.

No way.

Taxpayers are on the hook for the buyout not any donors or the TAF. Landry is vindicated and 100% correct to blow a gasket when he found out they fired the guy without having the buyout money lined up. THEY STILL DON'T!

There is no close la primary in the governor’s election. I don’t know why people be saying this. It’s an open primary. Let’s see if a GOP challenger runs against Landry and probably JBE. Only federal elections have closed primaries
