No I like Deion Smith. But fact is he was sidelined for most of the 2nd half of the season while guys like Bech and Nabers and Thomas thrived. 
If Kayshon Boutte transfers, that is a major issue. 100%.

It is concerning when you see how other programs have filled their staff. Maybe it’s some NFL guys. If I had to guess he has missed on some hires and is having to reshuffle the deck.

That’s fair but it doesn’t bother you seeing Louisiana WRs leaving for Bama and we don’t have a coach in place after weeks of knowing Mickey was going to Nebraska?
Mickey going to Nebraska isn't why we missed on WR talent. Anderson was waiting for a reason to flip to Bama, and firing O was his 'excuse'. We hardly recruited Law, which was stupid, but it wasn't on BK.
LSU has WR talent now and LA grows WRs and CBs on trees. BK needed to fix OL and that's what he's been concentrating on, clearly.

Please reference and link , factual evidence of the HUGE NIL contracts offered to Preston, Anderson, and Law by Alabama. Lots of speculation on what BAMA has offered them without any objective hard data.
I don't believe any of the 3 LA WR's are EE's. No one is forcing them to sign on ESD. If these kids truly wanted to be Tigers, they would wait until the LSU staff is completed and sign their LOI on February 2. I have no doubt that Saban lies to these kids telling them they will not have a scholarship if they don't sign on ESD.
Devin White is the only LSU player I know that told Saban to his face that he was playing for his State and signing with LSU. Saban's response - Good, then we will beat you every year you play us. Devin White got the big picture ! These other kids who sign with Alabama are just groupies wanting the easy way out to getting a ring.

BK knows that his coordinator hires are more important for the short and long term than making a quick hire to maybe get a couple more recruits in this cycle.

This class was going to be screwed up with the lame duck coaching staff over the last 2 months. BK isn’t going make hires that are knee jerk like O did. That’s partly how O lost his job. I’d like him to get someone in place too but ultimately it’s better to get a good fit that wants to be here.
