Agreed. I also think he knew he was behind the power curve in recruiting when he was hired and his plan is to hit the transfer portal hard much like Tucker did last year at Mich St.

There's a massive asteroid heading towards earth and will hit next week, wiping out all life.

Juvenile Rantknockers still worried about LSU football!

All this BS is just WAY TOO IMPORTANT and HIGH PRIORITY in y'alls life; like COMPULSIVELY OBSESSED important.

I hope some of these 5 star recruits are waiting until February. Pressure will be intense on them and some of them will be announcing The Army Allstar game Jan 1st.

The longer we wait the tougher it will be for these 5 star recruits to hold off.

Playoffs and bowls won't be done til mid Jan.

Either BK is fooling himself or he is a mastermind with gigantic Cajones!

A possible scenario could be that the coaches he has targeted are in the bowl games and they are with big programs with a possible chance at the championship and they are wanting until after that game to not disrupt the team’s focus. At the same time, on one hand I don’t like it because it jeopardizes your recruiting class ( which is happening now ) but on the other hand you don’t settle on someone who doesn’t “align” with your vision and philosophy of your program. So it’s better to wait and just take your lumps this year in recruiting. Who knows, the guys he eventually get might sway several of the remaining top recruits to come to LSU. Time will tell.

Kind of hard to say that he can’t come in and land some recruits with Billy Napier and Lincoln Riley having tons of success on the trail…

Both of those guys are on the road all the time and are primaries on recruits. That's why LR was able to get a lot of those OU guys to USC, because he was the main recruiter on them. Younger HCs tend to be primary recruiters more often.

That's not BK, he delegates the legwork to his assistants, he's a closer like Saban. Saban is not a primary on any recruits at this point in his career, he has too much else to do. If we'd gotten Rees and Freeman, then we probably would've had a couple of their recruits if we'd wanted them.

But the top recruiting teams, Kirby, Saban, Jimbo, Dabo, they aren't out there on the road like the younger guys. Frankly Riley and Napier need to be on the road to dig themselves out of the hole that their predecessors made for them. Thankfully O's recruiting wasn't horrible.

Don’t get butthurt because I pointed something out you don’t like. They do get butthurt with the truth on here.

This whole thread boils down to your preference of having a few more highly recruited kids that may/may not be used correctly. I can see it now, “why was this coach hired? He has no idea how to use this talent!”

Or a well coached team.

I prefer a well coached team.

I didn’t even bother to read the thread. Only the naive heading. The staff is in place. Won’t be fully announced until after the bowl game.
