What do you think the hold up is? You been around long enough to know that 1 bad recruiting is easily recoverable from but a depleted roster and weak recruiting class (purely numbers at this point) is dangerous territory.

Patience is a virtue but ain’t some point you have to get on a field with a certain set of guys and go play A&M and Alabama.

I don’t care I how good the scheme is if we’re severely out-talented.

Recruiting is the lifeblood and the longer you allow these questions to linger the more likely you are to lose several key players.

Say whatever you guys want. We are not a better team without Deion Smith, Kendrick Law, Shazz Preston, Aaron Anderson, Leveon Moss, Trey Palmer, Elias Ricks or Jake Johnson.

I’m not melting but i wish this process would have been prioritized to be handled in a timely manner.

Like you said, he's a safe hire and will WIN...he WILL recruit well, and we need to give him TIME to get his program in order. The program was in a mess whether it appeared that way from the outside or not. With transfers allowing coaches like CBK to get properly film-evaluated players in here and playing next year, we won't be missing a recruiting year. Trust your own advice, you got it right then!

As long as the OC and DC are a solid hire and a couple of weeks before the next signing day I think we'll be good. Coach Davis and Coach Wilson are already out there working their magic with recruits. Heck, either one of them could be named OC before/after the bowl game who knows. Patience. Most of what CBK has done so far has worked and that's in a couple of weeks time. Myles and Miles were nice surprises and who knows what other good surprises we've got coming.

Filling staffs today when the target date is 2 months away is short sighted both immediately and long term.

Holy shite what a fricking lie

Riley hasn't completed his coaching staff and has like 7 commits and the 70th ranked class

Napier hasn't completed his staff and also only has like 10 commits and the 50th ranked class - had one signing day suprise
he just hired a WR coach yesterday
He had multiple decommits and transfers and pissed off multiple Florida High School coaches

He tried his best to get multiple guys who were committed to us and Wiggins and got beat by Kelly and Frank on every one of them
