No. Chris doesn't know or care about the camera. He's been doing this forever back when most games weren't televised. I typically don't join in the chants but I respect what he does and it bothers me none.

Guillot fills a need. The Box can be a little stale at times. On a side note- do we not have a student section or is baseball just poorly followed by our students? I went to the Ole Miss series in Oxford a few years ago and I gotta tell you, it ups the ante when you have a rowdy outfield student section.

I have chatted with him a few times at games and the guy seems genuine and a good guy. He does a great job in getting the fans going. I think he is great for LSU baseball and the Box.
Now that other person that was referenced in here. I have never met her but she certainly seems odd. I don't know if it's true that she routinely pulls the "Do you know who I am" thing. All I can say its that it appears that she has this burning desire for attention. It never fails, every year at the tournament she puts her self in a position so that the camera is on her when they she batter in the box.

As someone else said, he's part of our home field advantage. He helps the players get into the game.
I can't tell you how many times he's started his chant and LSU has scored a run or gotten a base hit.
I'm not saying he's some magical tool, but I'm saying he gets the crowd into it and gets everyone else into it, thus giving the team confidence.
I'd take a million fans like him over your miserable arse every day.

Look man Guillot is fixture we should all appreciate. So is the K-lady.
Mix that up with the LSU tenors singing the national anthem, the fantastic scene behind the wall of the Box--stadium, score board, championship billboard and the tabasco sign--the recognition of the vets every weekend, the LSU dancing girls and on and on and you have the magic of the Box.
(I do wish they would fix the tabasco sign so that it turns 90 degrees and dispenses neon drops of tabasco when LSU hits a homer!!)
