How can we get this done?
Let’s put Jeff Landry on it. He made Tiger Stadium accept cash again and I’m sure he can put our welfare tiger back to work again. Mike is a lot like the clients of LSU’s official injury attorneys: He’d prefer to stay in his cage and collect a check.

As much as I would love seeing this and the nostalgia that it would bring so may. I would be willing to bet that there would be a certain percent of teachers and students and staff at LSU who would be offended. this generation is not the same as the last. Better start thinking how you could pretend to have a tiger on the field with a hologram or an ai robot or something as this issue seems to have passed a long time ago.

Teach Mike how to drive a vehicle around the stadium. If a dog can drive, so can Mike.

he should be allowed outside his habitat
The School of vet medicine I'm sure puts him under a sedative agent frequently to do dental work, blood draws for laboratory work and radiographs and could time his recovery so that he wakes up in a 10foot wide plexiglas reinforced trailer , with A/C with a top tier audio system and the same afternoon be trailered into Death Valley for 3 hours to get used to the fans.
Current Mike is used to fans outside his thick plexiglass habitat anyway !

State of the art sound proof habitat built into the stadium right outside the visitor locker room. That’s the only way. It’ll cost millions

Any "can we get mike into the stadium" threads should be struck immediately with a 10 day ban.

The horse is dead. It's not going to happen. There is nothing you can do to make it happen.
I'm glad we have a tiger and I hope that continues.

It’s amazing how somebody can do the social media equivalent of farting into a microphone and still get 10+ pages of responses in this site…even on a topic as worn out as this one. People are so easily entertained these days.

Update.
Zoo keeper is out on vacation until Thursday on vacation.
He has me set me up with the chief life science director there.
He is connecting me with an expert from AZA community. They will be able to answer any questions so go ahead and shoot them this way.
Some of you really do suck.
This whole thread is just to ask some questions and make sure what we are being told is the way it is.
So there you go you little b’s.
Done.

Ok will ask them that.
What else?

Do we really have to go here 50 times every off-season?
and you and or many like you will pop off and complain about those who bring it to the Rant.
it's always entertaining to read about it.
maybe, the day will come when all the liberal BS and WOKEISM will end and people will celebrate the wonderful creation God has given us here on earth.
these same PETA bastards may never get over the fact that human beings have been caging wild animals for centuries.
i would like to see these commie organizations like peta, blm, southern poverty law center and aclu put behind bars so they can never infest the minds of children with their insanity.
just sayin'

Exactly. But every time we get one of these threads someone goes off on PETA as if it was their call.
and every time someone like you denies peta was evolved in it.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen this thread. Answer to the question: NO

Not sure what you expect to learn from an AZA expert, but you don't seem to be in touch with any of the issues regarding LSU's decisions to stop parading Mike the tiger around Tiger Stadium.
Mike's habitat is maintained as a sanctuary, not a zoo. As such, LSU is concerned with GFAS guidelines, not AZA. LSU has already publicly stated that it is following GFAS guidelines. Failure to do that would limit LSU's access to sourcing future tigers to the black market, something LSU has said it will never do. LSU has publicly positioned itself to promote tiger conservation. In 2017, LSU, Clemson, Auburn and Missouri joined up to form Tigers United University Consortium, which is committed to saving wild tigers worldwide.
LSU will not abandon all it has invested in Mike the tiger just to bring him into Tiger Stadium a few times a year for football games. Ain't happening.

This is exactly the info I have been wanting. The whole point of this thread. I do not know this stuff. Decided to find out.
Thank you.
Still going to see what they say though.
