I'm not endorsing the hire. I thought he stayed too long at lsu. I'm opining on what is likely to happen in a world where someone makes that hire.

Didn’t we do the same with Skip

We hired Skip so the admin could usher in the single largest across the board price increases in the history of the department. They bought Skip's goodwill to do wildly unpopular things. So, no, we didn't really do the same thing. They hired Ray so they could reward a winner.

I’m really not but I will call a spade a spade. As as far as litigating, well it’s also what I do for a living so it is what it is

I don't think they'd fire him after one year. Maybe he thinks about retiring again.

What is most likely to happen to they hang on to their freshmen group that contributed this season and they sign like 20 guys in the portal. Similar to what UGA did when Wes got there.

Just doesn't look healthy. Assume he still isn't dealing with back issues.
Good man, hope he calls it a day. SC obviously not supporting baseball anymore.

All this time Paul has been a coach and you can't spell Mainieri?

He already said he’s coming back to BR when he hangs it up. I have no ill Will towards him. It was time for him to move on. Not too interested in what so cal does from here.

He only lost 4 games out of conference and they all were against top 15 teams.

He has a few good looking freshmen and I bet he pulls a few transfers next season.

His first year in BR was bad and he won a title the next season. At least give the guy a few seasons.

He's too fricking decrepit. He's got a pot belly and walks with a Joe Biden gait. He's got no business coaching in the SEC.

No they weren’t. Many of them won because of the brand and condition of the program. Miles and Manieri didn’t and won’t win shite at KU and So Carolina.

Smoke was a disaster camp money hire when the program could’ve gotten anyone in the country.
