I think he could improve his draft stock by coming back. Right now I don’t think he is in the top echelon of draft prospects.
He could vault himself up there like Burrow and Daniels did.

Won’t keep both Clark and Longstreet if he does

Can you just enter the transfer portal?

Yes, if he leaves, maybe a 4th or 5th round grade. He's always injured and he haven't really proved himself at LSU. He's definitely running it back, now the others may elect to look elsewhere.

If he left today he’s a Day 3 pick at best if drafted at all
It would take a Trinidad type run deep into the playoffs for him to leave imo

Longstreet I believe is here for the long haul. Clark will likely bolt because of his handlers.
What makes you so confident on Longstreet?
Not saying you are wrong but money and playtime talk.
I do think Clark leaves. He will have a fair amount of film showing his potential.

What’s going to eventually happen is stud high school QBs start going to smaller schools to act as a farm league to be picked up the next year by the big dogs who are graduating or sending a QB to the league.

This is a terrible year for a QB with issues to enter the draft.
Arch has issues. You think he’s coming back?

If he doesn't take LSU to the final two? Yes.

Who cares if Clark leaves

Sam should return and improve his passing game.

Where is he gonna go ?
Hasn’t shown the ability to be a pocket passer vs a good team yet

He would certainly make more in CFB If he does come back, does Clark and/or Longstreet jump in the portal, leaving the QB room potentially with just Leavitt & freshman Pop.
I figure if he does come back then Clark is the one to leave but possibly both because Kiffin will get another young QB in the portal next year we dont even know yet.
One think I like about the 5 for 5 rule is not having to worry about burning RSs and hence you can evaluate younger people in a game rather than just on a practice field. We dont have to wait a couple yrs to see what Pop has even if he is #3 on the depth chart

It’s a big QB class this year coming out. He is probably a 4th rd pick right now. He could make more in NIL next year than a 4th rd rookie contract would pay him. The first pick in the 4th rd contract is about 5.5 million over 4 years. He can make 6-7 million in NIL next year.

Cannot worry about things that do not exist.

I don’t know about next year. But Leavitt is coming on Kentucky’s back this weekend.

He will be finished with his studies this year.
