Yes. He's smart. Cam and Vick were not. He doesn't just take off like Leavitt, he only runs when an opportunity presents itself

Very different styles to compare these four. Josh Allen is more physical and looks to initiate contact. Can't say the same for the others. Josh's running style is more similar to Taysom Hill, IMO.

He's like Vick in that he takes contact instead of sliding but he's obviously a lot beefier so doesn't get hurt like Vick did.
Vick was the greatest QB runner I've ever seen, even better than Lamar, but got beat up too easily.

I didn’t ask if he was the fastest or best athlete I said is he a better runner.

Vick was a running back playing QB, Allen is QB that can run. High IQ player as well

Yes and its because hes already a better QB than they are without leaving the pocket.
Running is an extension of his game whereas it is part of Lamars, Newton's, and Vicks.
A defense cannot stop Allen when he runs because it has to defend his arm first.

I think it’s hard to compare those other guys with Vick, Vick would’ve been insane in modern offenses and defensive size/rules. Saw a glimpse of it when he linked up with Andy Reid late in his career.

Allen is the best 4th and 1 QB of all time and it’s not remotely close He is so automatic with it people are now trying to make it a negative
