When Coach O was hired all I kept saying was give the man a chance. At the worse he will fail and we will move on. Did I like the hire at the time, no I didn't. But the fact that this board was absolutely unbearable was an understatement.

Lets also throw in the hiring of Coach Ensminger who by the way is one of ours but was made to feel that he was one of theirs(Alabama). Again, all I said was give it a chance and let's see what happens. Well we are seeing what is happening! Coach O brings in Coach Brady to compliment Coach E for the time being. Great move!

Now I want those crow eaters to come and take a big ole slice of that pie!

*Oh and we can use the downvotes at the crow eaters

We are 2-0, not 12-0. All signs, through two games, point towards Orgeron being an amazing hire. There is still a lot of football left to be played. It's not time to build a statue yet.

I want to agree with you here, but there are a lot of games left. Let the season play out first.

My concern was not failure, it was continuous 3 loss seasons and not getting over the hump. Which was what we already had.

I'll hold off on my pie until seasons end. But my fork is ready and placemat set

That is all we have to go on right now! I'm talking about right now today! I know anything can happen, but strictly right now today! Maybe I should have stated that.

I mean, it seems like he was in the exact same boat as many of the labeled "O Haters." He didn't care for the hire, when it happened. He didn't care for the hire of Ensminger, when it happened. Now it is very much trending towards being a good hire, and he wants to call people out? Maybe he should be among the first to "eat crow."

I think we can give O credit for finally executing something we’ve been told we would see for a decade now. New pass-attack offense.

Pretty clear he’s delivered.

I think everyone realized this is the Best Case Scenario for O (assuming the offense stay this good).

Recruiting his arse off.

Finally put the right coaches in place on offense.

I think if you pretend he got there by anything other than trial and error while leaning on the defense that was already established than youre being dishonest.

THe "this is the offense i envisioned" talk is wild. This offense is great, but not uncommon in college football. There are a lot of OCs out there that run HUNH RPO based offenses and we hired Canada and E.

BUT we are here, and i am not gonna complain too much. But O is exactly who i thought he was so far.

Ok...so going off of where Orgeron has LSU today. We are off a NY6 bowl win, are 2-0, just went on the road and beat a top 10 team. As of today, Orgeron was an A+ hire. This thread is still pretty pointless though, because where we are today means nothing if we don't stay there. 11-1 is very realistic, and should be achieved. Make this thread after that happens.

Of course. But we've played 2 games. I don't know why people can't be excited about the momentum of the program and the changes made while also understanding there is still A LOT of work to be done.

Slice it anyway you choose. I'm talking about the ones(and they know who they are) that went completely ape shite crazy and damn near blew this board up. By the way, no patting on the back here. This is just facts!

Why don't you tell us who they are? Everybody is quick to point this out, but NEVER back up any of their claims.
