No way O does anything if Leonard is still here. Now Orgeron can do what he wants with little bro.

You have to admit though, grabbing his ID from the security guard, and running to Leonard's car for a get a way, is pretty hilarious. Kids being kids I guess.

I think Miles has set the punishment already by kicking Perilloux off the team for the same reason!

Perilloux kept getting in fights.

What Lanard did seems like he did what any kid in college has thought of doing at one point, sneak into a place where he's underage. Big deal.

No violence, no drugs, no nothing. Much ado about nothing. (I'm not condoning it but my point is that almost every kid in college do things along these lines)

The ONLY reason he is playing for LSU is because of big brother. Kick him off the team now.

There are several things Les did I liked. One of them was to usually let the authorities/DA finish with cases like this first, and then react with appropriate and fair "follow up" punishment. I hope CEO continues that.

This is a one game suspension max.
.
I would rather see a kid trying to gamble than fighting, dwi, stealing or hitting women
.
That being said, the question is how long until Leonard is broke if he and his family continue to spend money like they never had it. Expensive shoes, cars, gambling etc that all depreciate and you lose money as opposed to making good investments.

So you're saying O would be too intimidated to punish Lanard if big brother was still on the team? Are you f***ing serious?

Relax baw. Just make him run a bit after practice. This isn't even suspension worthy.

I'm beginning to think people start threads on here just to see how many downvotes they can get. This can't be a serious question.

The punishment would be the same if LF7 were still on the team. The only difference is that O would've had LF7 involved in the punishment phase by having him talk to his little brother about doing the right thing!. I am sure that LF27 did call his little brother and gave him a talking to, but it is much ado about nothing.

O said yesterday that he will handle it internally. Which means he's going to run his arse off. He didn't do anything none of us have tried. No drugs, no fight, and nothing serious IMO

Lanard is an idiot. His biggest gamble is toying with an NCAA football scholarship.

Holy shite some of you guys are a joke.

First of all, this isn't serious. He tried to sneak in somewhere underage and got caught. Big freaking deal.

Second of all, Lanard is a solid player. He had scholarship offers to other D-1 schools outside of LSU. He's not some charity case.

His family is now worth over 30 million dollars with a legitimate oppurtunity to triple that (or more) over the next decade. And you guys want to judge them for buying his mom an $80K car and some shoes (which btw genius, he gets a lot of the apparel for free).

The Fournettes are a hard working dedicated family. Lanard made a goof but he isn't going to prison and he isn't getting kicked off the team. Chill out.

I did some stupid shite when I was at LSU, but I would not have done that. I didn't have access to a fake ID.
