Is 3 INT’s in the scrimmage good or bad?

Does it mean that the defense has vastly improved or does it mean the interception Bus has returned?

I think we can all accept that Nuss is going to throw more picks than Jayden next year. Just have to hope the touchdowns offset it.

In modern football, INTs are just as often on the receiver as on the QB. (Route trees require receivers to read coverage technique. Even something as subtle as hip turn can change a route choice.) Would have to see the plays for context.

Is the where we come to grossly overreact to one scrimmage like it 100% correlates to what will happen in season?

Matt Mauck threw multiple picks in the 2003 Spring Game. Season turned out alright I’d say.

Or does it mean this practice went that way and we should not judge anything based on this one practice?

Depends on the nature of the picks thrown.

A scrimmage has no bearing on how the season will go, but that team had a WAY better secondary.

Think there needs to be some context to it; 1 was batted by the line, 1 was during scripted plays & other apparently was really wind assisted deep ball. Nuss will take chances either way.

It means the defense knows the offensive plays and jumps routes. Nothing to take from it.

Hopefully it means defense is playing tighter and this will then make Nuss and the other qbs have to get better. Hopefully it would not lead to any carry over into the season. Practice just started.

No excuse for Nussmeier to not have a breakout year

well we do have a new defensive backs coach, so that could be good news!

If interceptions give you that much anxiety, you may want to take this year off. there will be plenty of them.

We're in here talking about practice. Not the game. We're talking about practice. Practice. We're talking about practice, man. Not them game. Not the game. We're talking about practice.

Except it being his first year as a starter which wasn't a breakout year for even Burrow.

I expect him to be good but this is just dumb. We lose our top 2 receivers, #1 RB, and our offensive coordinator. This year will be a work in progress all year long offensively.
