In the first game, how many times was Alabama inside our 20 yard line?

Just Once. They got to our 17 yard line at the end of the 2nd quarter. How can a Bama fan claim dominance when you couldn't even crack our 15 yard line?

Their six longest plays (out of 60 total) accounted for nearly 50% of their total yardage...most of them due to poor tackling or busted assignments.

LSU could have scored TD's twice...before half (Randle's near catch and I think Ware could have bounced it outside on the last run before the FG) and in OT (Ford should have stayed in bounds).

If our defense can just do its thing, we should win...wow...I am pumped...this weekend feels like Mardi Gras...

You're right.

The act like they had TDs within their grasp all game.

Four FG attempts from 44+ says the best you could do on most of your psuedo scoring drives is the 27 yard line.

Marquis Maze claims they got into the red zone 5 or 6 times and didn't execute.

IT's called "Revisionist History".

The fact is that Alabama did in fact move the ball pretty well, BUT.... once they crossed mid-field and got into our territory the LSU defense tightened up.

Yes, Bama made some mistakes once they got on our end, but a lot of that should have been credited to the Tiger defense.

I can't wait until Monday night.

When you repeat a lie often, sooner or later you start to believe it. As in, 13 National Championships.

I live on the FL gulf coast (Mary Esther, near FWB), the local Bama fan idiots (i.e., never attended the school or set foot in Tuscaloosa) on the local sports talk radio say that Bama will just run Richardson and Lacy b/w the tackles -- "like they should've done the first game." Apparently the fact LSU outrushed AL 148-96 is an inconvenient fact.

Great post chicken, just this morning I was trying to remember how many times we had "beat ourselves" that game.... how many opportunties we had not made the most of. I seriously expect different this game....

Randle dropped 2 huge TDs this year that made 2 games much closer than they should've been. Hopefully, he makes up for it with 2 TDs on Monday!

Or if an unguarded Shep had stayed on his feet on the long completion.

Just let them think what they want to think.

I've given up. It's no use. I just laugh at them now.
