I have a very close friend that is a BAMA grad and I've made these points to him but he's like Maze in the fact that he claims their O was completely dominant and missed opportunities in the "red zone". He refuses to admit that the LSU D just stopped them. They're all beyond help. I've just stopped trying to rational..I've come to realize there is no legitimate conversations with gumps

Besides the aforementioned Shepard falling down with literally no one around him,

On Claiborne's INT, if he cuts to the right instead of going out of bounds, he could have scored also.

And the one time Bama did get inside the LSU 20, I think they went BACKWARD on the next play?

Both teams will have adjustments and both teams had alot of "what-if's" in the first game. Any excuse to things being done differently can be said on either side of the ball. I just feel with the idea that we beat bama the first time in THEIR dome now playing in OUR atmosphere along with the heart and want behind that, LSU will come out with stride. Anything can happen, but if we prevent "mistakes" our talent will roll right over the tide.

Another little known fact is that Bama only ran 4 offensive plays beyond midfield in the second half. The first 3 plays came after JL's 2nd interception where the drive started at LSU's 35 yard line. LSU's D held Bama's offense to 3 and out, and Bama made their 2nd field goal.

The fourth play by Bama's offense was Maze's INT early in the 4th quarter.

LSU's D dominated Bama in the 2nd half and in OT.
