Look at Paul sitting there with his facial expressions. I cant stand that dude.

Lsu texas tech texas texas am Oklahoma Arkansas should do their own thing.

Hell, lsu texas and texas am are the top 3 most valuable football programs in the sec right now.

I can’t believe I agree with this dude. It’s like the one time I agreed with Obama. Sometimes opposite sides of the coin agree.

The main guys who have been bashing LSU through all of this and really just making up things are the college football writers who are trying to stay relevant.

Many of the national TV guys (excluding Paul) think the whole thing is stupid, but understand why LSU is doing what it’s doing. Sometimes it’s good to have guys like Stephen A. going off in something when he’s in your side.

Usually when I hear Stephen A, whether he is with LSU or against, he isn't all the way knowledgeable about the facts of whatever situation he's talking about. I'm very impressed at how many layers of this whole thing he talked about here. Very big W for SAS.

He's ESPN's mouthpiece and LSU is a big draw the network doesn't want to lose so they're going to have some prominent members on our side to try to cool this expulsion stuff down. ESPN/SAS follows the ratings and LSU killed it in the ratings and media engagement this past week

Bingo. If the SEC were to come back and suspend Kiffin for 3-4 games, espn is signaling to they will have a major problem with that. The SEC will find some in the media that support, but they will have a lot that notice that one of those games happens to be against his former team OM. ESPN wants Kiffin to have to return to Oxford. It’s great for ratings.

It was fun watching him squirm during Stephen A's rant

It's not like he's being unreasonable. It's fine if the SEC wants to confirm their ability to govern itself, but it shouldn't be retroactively and at the expense of LSU when others have done the same thing over the last couple years. I think almost everyone here would agree with that.

SEC being reactive and not proactive is why we are here today. Sankey couldn’t define a pro player and didn’t know 5/5 ruling. Before June, any player that left school and pursued an nfl career was never allowed back, but ncaa / sec created this grey area. Since there’s a grey area, they threaten to expel LSU. This isn’t action to correct “loss of institutional control” it’s an action to save face by the sec

If LSU is still in next week, there should be a constant push to move the SEC out of Birmingham, and stop having baseball in Hoover.

I have always liked some of his opinions when he leaves race out of the equation (there are exceptions where it may be relevant, but I believe those are few and far between nowadays).

Of course, other times I find him only barely tolerable because I understand he has a job ginning up engagement.

The fact that his volume goes up so much is off-putting. It's not as bad as Blake Ruffino, though.

That's just me, though.

I always have. You don’t have to agree with someone 100% of the time to “like” them. I believe he’s a good dude

Stephen A. has been on a good run lately. He has also been attacking the wokeness of the WNBA.

This.

Keep in mind the topic was 'any punishment" where SAS would throw a fit, not expulsion.

The character he plays on tv is obnoxious and plays to the lowest common denominator. The stuff he does away from ESPN is actually pretty good

Having someone as big as Steven A call out the absurdity and hypocrisy is huge for LSU. He can sway public opinion on this. Dumb university presidents who get all their info from talking heads on this may even change their tune some.

I mean, you could ask the same question and substitute the name Lane Kiffin. That’s how life works.
