Carroll overall is fine and I respect what he has accomplished in his career. But LSU still has bad blood with that guy for promoting the idea that USC was somehow a dual champion in 2003. That was a big controversy and one that I view as intellectually dishonest. If I recall correctly, that narrative only died down when the NCAA busted USC for cheating that year (and determined that they were eligible for nothing including their imaginary half championship).
