Yep missing on those guys in that 2018 class really put us in a hole depth wise. Letting go of a guy like burns last class too. Need more corners in this upcoming class Wiggins alone isn’t gonna cut it!!

I thought flott looked pretty good last year when he was in there honestly. Had a bad day yesterday but maybe it’s a bump in the road.

thing is he was going up against #3 or 4 receiver, sure he had a few good moments, but he had other moments where he got flat out abused. He just doesn't seem to have straight line speed nor closing ability nor turning his head to make a play on the ball

There are only 2 3* Corners on the roster.

2 5*s
2 4*s

We have to be able to keep it on the rails

Last year UGA lost to South Carolina, a team much worse than Miss State, and ended with the #1 class at 313 composite score

No excuses.

Just have to improve week to week and LSU will be fine. I do think that the WR from Mississippi will end up staying in state though unfortunately.

Last year QBs had a lower completion % throwing at Flott then they did throwing at Stingley.

Ward had surgery recently that caused him to miss two weeks of practice.

LSU won't have another game all season where they face a passing attack like what we saw this past saturday.

Flott was just okay

Flott was one of the biggest disappointments on Saturday.

He's going to have a target on his back all season. Ricks has talent, but his inexperience still cost us a lot. But, at least you can see how he will progress.

Ward was hurt. I don't know if he's any good, but I can forgive him trying to play with an injury. Evans was a disaster.

Where was Raydar jones?

Not ready apparently. Which is scary considering how not ready Flott and Ward were today

If Jones has fallen off that much, he should move to FS because LSU is in MAJOR need of a safety that can play in space. We don't have one.

It's because he was primarily a QB in highschool. He's very raw, we just have to give him time to develop (even though, frankly, we don't have the time).

Flott is going to be just fine.

He really didn't play that much last year

We no longer sign the numbers we used to at corner. It used to be we would sign 5 or 6 DBs in a class; now it’s 3 or 4.

It’s a bummer. But LSU always has issues pulling the Sip kids.

LSU rivals 2019
There are 3 of them in this class (Ward, Raydar, and Flott)
And then there’s Evans with no stars as a HS player or transfer

Nope, not true. Ward and Flott were 3* and Evans wasn't even rated. Let me guess...that still only makes 2 3* huh? I will also mention due to early departures and tranfers, LSU is short on corners to begin with.
