While the 2011 Natty sucked, I went on with my life pretty quickly because LSU football doesn't define my life.

I've no idea what closure means in this context!
2011 was a shitty end to a great season. 2019 was a spectacular end to a great season. And, I looked forward to the next game in the next season.
One game doesn't define the whole season for me or how I feel about LSU football.

I have been a fan since I was 9 years old in 1960. I was at the Jan, 2012 NCG we lost to Bama, my most hated team. I got over that loss within a week or two. I find it bizarre why so many folks kept up that 1-9-12 nightmare deal.
I never thought I would see LSU Football even play for a NC much less win one. (Fan 1960-now) But I got to attend FOUR NCG's that LSU played in and the Tigers won 3 of those.
1-9-12 is not even a blip on my LSU fandom experience.

Beating BAMA two times in the same year with a couple players from your HS alma mater on the team.
I don't think like that at all LSU has CBK and the turnaround in short order is what I'm focused on. LSU is getting ready to put a streak together. Get your head out of the past.
