I’ll take Kelly being that he isn’t afraid to coach in the SEC

Future NFL QBS are signing up to play for Riley.

They haven’t signed up to play for Kelly for sure. How many Notre dame NFL QBS have we seen in the last decade?

Riley got the best avialable job. It wasn’t in the SEC. Is a coach supposed to take a lesser job to show he is not scared to compete in a certain conference? Laughable

If you leave your job for a promotion is it because you were scared to compete for promotion with your former co workers?

Hindsight is 20/20, but Riley is scared of the SEC, while Kelly passed on an easy retirement in South Bend to put himself through the meat grinder, it's about more than money for him, he wants to show what he can do. I'm taking Kelly.

Riley would have been nice, but to play in th SEC you have to have the desire to lock horns with the best. You really have to be hungry to win at a high level. Where Kelly relishes this type of mind set Riley cringed and ran.

It’s hurts bud! Hurts did the same thing he did at Alabama run! His flaws are his padding game ! Same thing it was at bama! Riley just adjusted offense to his skills and they were exploited at times due to terrible passes by Hurts!

He's a quarterback whisperer, bro. Honestly, he might even consider a qb under his loving care winning a Heisman to be championship enough for him.

But if what they say about defense winning championships is true, he's probably shite out of luck.

Riley but let's be real, he'll be coaching in the NFL within 5-7 years, USC is just another stepping stone for him.

Are we trying to get quarterbacks first round status or is LSU trying to win games.

Hell we had a quarterback go number 1 overall in Russell. How long fid his career last?

It's about lsu, not draft spots

USC pays more
Better location best weather in North America
More fertile recruiting grounds
More rich alumni
More tradition / bigger market.
Private jet access 24/7 as opposed to the 50 hrs a year that Kelly got.

Come on.. SC is a better job. One of the few that is better than this one.

The most important thing is putting a winning product on the field, not having the quarterback who is the first player chosen in the NFL Draft.
