Who would it be?

I would have chose Riley before, but after doing research on Kelly, he may be the better of the two.

Riley for sure. QB development has always been the big issue here.

The more and more I read and listen to Kelly… the more and more I’m pumped.

Our program needed stability DESPERATELY. He’ll bring that. And hopefully an O line

I would have said Riley before Kelly was hired, but now I would say Kelly!

This shite is so stupid. Brady didn’t develop Burrow. He just ran a modern offense compared to what we had previously with the best 11 personnel that ever existed in college. Riley didn’t develop Baker, seeing as he was successful at Tech. Riley didn’t develop Murray. Riley didn’t develop Jalen Hurts. They all would’ve been NFL players without him. Matt Campbell has worked this dude head to head more than once with a doormat program.

.

This is the only acceptable answer. To the idiot that down voted this; kindly explain why you prefer a coach that doesn’t want to be here.

I'll be really surprised if Riley is really successful at USC. They might do well in the PAC12, but I don't see him building a national powerhouse there that competes for national championships regularly. I just haven't seen anything from him as a coach to suggest he can do that.

Kelly is a better fit for LSU and will likely be more successful.

Woody got it done.

The only other coaches I may have wanted over Kelly at this point could include saban dabo and Rhule….but there are arguments against each of them too.

Because they haven’t recruited kids who went on to be NFL caliber starters ya fkin ding dong. If you’re giving coaches credit for 1st round QBs, you’re out of your fkin mind. Yea, Dabo developed DJ into a stud huh? Watson and Lawrence were gonna be who they are regardless of him. He’s lucky to have landed both back to back.

After seeing the sideline performance of Coach Mulkey last night, I will defer to the AD Woodward's decision. What a phenomenal hire.

My first choice was Riley, but Kelly is a really good hire.

Future NFL QBS are signing up to play for Riley.

They haven’t signed up to play for Kelly for sure. How many Notre dame NFL QBS have we seen in the last decade?

There is no comparison in QB play under the 2 coaches.

For that reason, give me Riley.

Aside from Kizer and Book, I can’t think of anyone else since Brady Quinn which was back in 2007.
