9-3 in the SEC is a good year. And depending on what those losses look like, it would add more context. Getting blown out 2 more times would look terrible. Losing 2 highly contested games would look much better.
It would be a solid year 2. Especially if you win a decent bowl game.

A 9-3 regular season means we either go 1-2 vs Ole Miss, Alabama and A&M or we drop a game to Auburn, Miss State, Arkansas, Florida or Mizzou.
There’s really no excuse for either or reason to be “happy”. We are supposed to be one of the elite programs in college football. We have a coach who is paid an at elite level. Our expectations should be such.
With that said, I think the real LSU team is more of the one was saw the first three quarters of the game and not the one from the fourth quarter.

If we go 9-3 Year2, I’m definitely pleased.
Anything better will be ahead of schedule.
8-4 would be a disappointment. 7-5 or worse would be a big disappointment.

8 wins would mean things turn around. The D (as is Sunday) can't support an unproductive Offense this year. 35 pts a game will be needed.
