There's only one reason it isn't being played. And we all know what that is.
The administration even seems to give the fans a chance once a year to show they've learned their lesson. They play it.... STTDB is chanted... and it's gone for the rest of the year.
You only have yourself to blame.

The Neck controversy is asinine.
Kids will be kids.
There are only 3 solutions.
1-Loudly play piped in music that pisses fans off but drowns out STTDB from TV and most of the stadium.
2-Play neck until the students find something else to be “edgy” about.
3-Students yell STTDB in all songs until administration chooses #2.
So far it looks like 3 is in the lead.
Kids will be kids.

Y’all are greatly underestimating the intelligence, immaturity, and creativity of college kids.
Play neck during TV timeout and the students will rock out and scream STTDB. Then when the official with the magic red time-out indicator leaves the field, and the time keeping official blows his whistle, circles his arm, and uncovers the ball, expect a rousing chorus of STTDB and immature but hysterical laughter as they “beat” the system.

No you havent been listening and have reading comprehension problems.
The students still chant STTDB even without neck. They played a Lil Wayne song last season, guess what the students loudly chanted STTDB. I heard on tv during a game last season. Spoke with many people that were at the stadium and it was during some random band songs.
Stopping STTDB will not happen regardless of not playing neck or playing it.

Look, I graduated from LSU and admittedly did a lot of stupid stuff back then. I'm not some crotchety old man.
But chanting STTDB in a stadium full of people and with TV microphones on is WAY out of line. Sorry, it just is.

And I have two girls and have been to many games. THey hear all kinds of bad words, and look at me and roll their eyes when they hear it. So I'm not trying to shelter them and I don't pretend they don't hear it at school too (they hear some of it at home, too).
But come on, now, thousands of students screaming STTDB is far, far different than some random fan yelling an isolated F-bomb.
