It's all funny money at this point.

All SEC schools are printing money.

Let the kids have fun man. If you want them to stay and be loud for 4 quarters don’t bitch about how they celebrate.

Stick to your Nolan Ryan threw 110mph fastball takes.

It was 108. I know you can’t imagine that because you can’t do math. Look at the stats from his arse when he was 46 and threw 98. That was in the 90’s. Can’t use the “old equipment” blah blah blah excuse.
Stick to things that kids talk about today like TikTok or whatever.

Are you insinuating that you'd be embarrassed if it happens?

ill answer...embarassed? no, you fans who want to storm do you...just get leave space for the fans who want to leave and hit the road

If so, why? Who are you worried about making fun of it/you?

give two shits what people say on the internet and no one is going to make fun of me in real life if I tell them my thoughts its just not my thing. the thought of standing on the field hooting and hollering and bumping elbows just doesn't move the celebration experience needle to make me stay any longer then I need to

Exactly. Why does this matter? Even a little why?

Good emotions are good. I rushed the field last time we beat them but wouldn’t this time. If people want to do it. The kids love it.

Funny how security has been reduced to to the point where there’s no one stopping them

You are looking ahead. Stay focused on the A&M vs A&M game. We can have this discussion when the time is right.

People that bitch about this have failed to realize that field storming in 2024 isn’t the same as field storming in 2004 and they just need to accept it. It’s a thing now. Everywhere. Like it or not.

Exactly. Post Covid especially. It’s just not what it used to be. Once ball returned full stadiums and all it was just something everyone wanted to do.

Keep in mind, my argument is not that "you have to rush the field"

My argument is countering someone who is saying "you can't rush the field"

If you don't want to rush, I don't care, if you want to rush, I still don't care.

It's not that big of a deal as the OP is making it out to be.

If we storm the field in TS again this season, we forfeit another $250K from our SEC media allotment. That would mean LSUAD just throws away $600K this calendar year. ($100K to UK in MBB; $250K to Ole Miss, and maybe $250K to Bama)

IMO, we need that $600K to work for us and not Ole MIss/Bama.

I agree it gets a little expensive, but think of it this way, if the students are storming the field then something good just happened against a good team and that is always a positive.

Actually think there is a reasonable argument to avoid paying Bama a half mil, but if we win in walk-off fashion that thought goes out the window immediately.

It’s college football baby.

For the love of God, if we beat Bama in 20 days and hand Bama their 3rd loss of the season, let's please show some restraint and act like we've been there before.

I picture you—arms crossed, shaking your head after the last play.. completely torn with glee and disappointment as the crowd tramples the field. “Wow…just wow” before exiting tiger stadium still shaking that head as “LSU! “LSU” rings on and off the concrete tunnel. We are not better than that.

You do realize you're requesting something from a group of idiots who think adding "suck that tiger dick bitch" to evey song the band plays is cool??

Sure, why not?

This might be the most severe case of "dying on a hill" I've seen in a while

I'm not clutching my pearls over storming the field beating Ole Miss or Alabama, but there's no way you're saying LSU fans should be storming the field beating frickin Vanderbilt in football Come on, bro

Never said they should or shouldn't. If they want to, who gives a frick?

My whole point is people seriously spending time in their own head setting parameters on something as trivial as storming the field.

if we beat bama I can guarantee we will storm the field, so I would either accept that LSU fans are excited for big wins and like to have fun or pick a new hobby.

Get over it dude. Beating bama will be the nail in their playoff chances. Storm the field and play neck!
