More kids will die from broken necks and heart problems this year than COVID......just like the year prior.

You actually can ask. And they can say yes....or they can opt out. It is all in writing.

Nope that’s not how that works

Companies are paying Covid-19 hazard pay for the increased risk of going to work. Accepting the hazard pay is accepting the increased risk.

They’re going to be able to very soon. Why are you asking this question now?

They'll be in the bars at greater risk if the season is postponed. Better argument is football is the safest way for them to spend the Fall.

How is it more dangerous? The teams are showing a lower infection rate than the general public.

They are paid 4 years of free tuition, clothing, meals, housing plus the best medical care and academic support.

1) They get a free education.
2) 99.97% survivability rate
3) Paying players will unfairly disadvantage smaller schools.

Their lives are not on the line. Their particular age group has an even higher survivability rate that 99.97%.

It’s already a dangerous game—and this virus makes it 1000x more deadly.

You have no idea how to extrapolate intelligently.

quote:

I’m thinking pay per game like in the NFL because we still don’t know how many games will be played.

I'm just glad you aren't paid to do the thinking for football.

I agree. Look at how much money we can save by eliminating all sports and all the multi-million dollar contracts of all professional athletes. Make them work a regular job. That's social justice.

They have the option to opt out. So no, they will not get paid. I do believe there needs to be a players association. They should have a vote/say if they are the ones putting their life on the line.
