LSU comes out fired up playing inspirational football. Offense can't do crap and although we hang in for awhile we keep making the same damn mistakes and can't score, defense wears down and we end up losing big after losing heart again.

I actually believe it's better to start Nuss for one or two series and let Van Buren come off the bench early, because it puts pressure on MVB.

I'll be watching and pulling for the Tigers, i'm just not going to get up to get knocked down. I don't want this team to get embarrassed most of all. Geaux Tigers!

Nuss has been an anchor around the team’s neck all season. If he’s really the best we have that’s just pathetic.

And a portion of this fanbase lamented Jayden coming back for 2023

Us getting blown out or having a punchers chance depends on whether we’re running the ball effectively. Bama doesn’t get a lot pressure this year, but if we get behind 1 score we tend to abandoned all hope of a running game and bama will come after Nuss especially with this line. We have to commit to running and getting some first down so the D isn’t flattened by exhaustion like at ole Miss.

Hugely disagree. I mean perhaps, but we have a new head coach (interim) and offensive coordinator. Play calling makes all the difference.

If Nuss plays the whole game it's going to be 63-5 Bama.

It depends on the gameplan.

If LSU's run game is limited to the predictible RPOs and runs of the pistol that they haven't been able to execute for 2 years, coupled with our favorite 6 yard comebacks along the sideline that are thrown from one hash all the way to the other sideline, then yes, Nuss is going to be ineffective.

However, if the new OC incorporates more power/counter runs and recognizes passes are allowed over the middle of the field, it could be a different story. Nuss has talent. It just that like every player, he has strengths and weaknesses. Sloan NEVER fully played to the clear strengths of this team.

Nuss will be limping after the first series. Get your bet in with Draft Kings

Chat GPT: Write a story where Garrett Nussmeier starts and plays the whole game, wins by 95, throws the goalpost into space and breathes fire.
