If LSU is so poor, how come we keep signing top 10 recruiting and transfer portal classes?

$$ coming from somewhere?!? We may be poor in every other aspect of the state - jobs, health, education, economy. But don’t tell us we poor when it comes to football. We got our priorities right.

The lions share of big donations are made by out of state alumni. Don’t forget the engineers go to Texas and the top law students to Atlanta.

LSU as a college compared to other colleges is not poor. Louisiana as a state compared to other states is. But people been wanting to mix these things, I dont understand why.

Because to be consistently competing for championships you need to be top 5.
